Montgomery County/Carlinville Region of Mid-State Special Education is accepting applications for the following position:

Certified Staff:

1 Full-Time Licensed Special Education Teacher for the 2018-2019 school year (Beckemeyer Elementary)

Start Date:  November 26, 2018

Duties:  Special Education teacher is needed in the Hillsboro School District Beckemeyer elementary.  This is a cross categorical position that will serve students in the K-5th grade levels.  Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration with other teachers and therapist are required as emphasis is on students’ success in the general education environment.  Excellent direct instruction and behavior management skills are also required in this position.  Additionally, the teacher will manage a case load and develop effective IEPs for students

Qualifications:  Illinois Licensure-LBS1 certification

Salary: Per the MC/CSEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Additional Notes:  Mid-State Special Education, Montgomery County/Carlinville Region serves Carlinville CUSD #1, Hillsboro CUSD #3, Litchfield CUSD #12 and Panhandle CUSD #2.  We are located in central Illinois about 45 minutes South of Springfield, IL and 60 minutes North of St. Louis, MO.
